Medical and Dental History Update

Our dentist needs to be aware of changes in your medical or dental history, including medications you are taking or any medical or dental conditions that you have developed.

Oral Examination

Visiting the dentist regularly is key to maintaining good oral health. Even if you are wearing dentures, you still need to meet with our team for routine examinations. These exams help us detect developing problems and other abnormalities in your mouth, and allow us to assess if your dentures are meeting your needs. We will also clean and polish your denture, and review your oral hygiene with you during the exam.

Tissue and Bone Assessment

Poorly fitted dentures cause changes to your bone and gum tissues. Our dentist will check the fit of your dentures and the overall condition of your mouth, and if needed will make recommendations to correct any problems as quickly as possible.

Comfort, Fit and Integrity of Your Dentures

Many of the problems caused by ill-fitting dentures can be corrected quickly, including problems with your bite, speech impediments and tissue irritations. Treating these conditions promptly helps you avoid more extensive problems in the future and ensures that your appliance functions correctly and looks natural.
